Paihia to Kawakawa - Historic Scenic Tour
 

Join us for an entertaining journey back in time

This 2½ hour tour leaves from Paihia Maritime Building and heads out to Opua before continuing on to Kawakawa

You'll hear entertaining commentary on the background and history of the region en route

You'll have the opportunity to visit the World Famous Hundertwasser Toilets, travel on one of only two Vintage Railways in the world where the train still travels down the main street (Subject to the train scheduled days). You can wander around the town learning more about Friedensreich Hundertwasser himself, or visit the Library Museum. There is a Maori carving workshop as well as craft/gift shops.

Or visit the fascinating Kawiti Glow worm caves.
